USANA's RESET Program This is a great way to get started with a healthy way to lose weight, control and reduce carb and sugar cravings. Average weight loss is 4.5 pounds in 5 days. Your results may vary. Before I did Usana's RESET program, my typical breakfast was carbs and caffeine. It didn't matter what exactly that consisted of; I just need a "hit" of energy in the morning. I was addicted to having dessert after every meal, could time my day by my 3:00 pm Snickers craving, and drank several cups of coffee a day just to keep going. During the five days of the RESET program, I felt satisfied, I had enough calories and a variety of tastes, was never bored, and I was excited that just after a couple of days I felt better and started noticing a drop in pounds. After I completed the RESET program, I was amazed to discover I had a craving--yes, a CRAVING--for baby carrots. That had never happened to me before! Now, fresh greens, a piece of grilled fish, and some quinoa is one of my most favorite meals. Occasionally, I'll follow that with a small piece of organic, dark chocolate. It's a perfect balance of healthy fats, proteins, and carbs. And I feel GREAT!
